If you have any feedback from our EAP, we've created a UserVoice forum especially for you! Check it out, and let us know what you think of the latest Early Access build.

When performing any operation that refreshes the detail pane view (such as Tools/Options/OK, View/Refresh, etc.), 7.4 EAP scraps the user-set horizontal splitter position and reverts back to its default.

This annoying bug merits not using 7.4 EAP, since it forces the user to readjust the splitter each time. Not acceptable. Please fix before release, or I'm afraid release will be equally unusable.

This problem isn't new to 7.4 - I have the same issue in 7.3 as well.

I assume you're talking about the height of the pane which displays the documentation?

I logged this as bug number RP-1771, and have fixed it for the next build.

Yes, the height being reset was the issue.

As of v7.4.1.179, this still has not been fixed.

Please can you give us some steps to reproduce this. If I do the following: open System.Object, resize the documentation pane and hit F5, the refresh happens and the pane remains the same size.
